Join Ger Wolfe and The New Skylarks in a rare musical celebration of the height of Summer as part of their ‘Midsummer Tour of Cork’ in Levis' Corner House Ballydehob . The new single 'The Golden Boy' will be launched on the same night, a powerful song from the forthcoming CD 'The Lark of Mayfield' due for release in the Autumn. Playing songs from their seven previous CD’s , Ger will be joined by Paul Frost (double bass) and Martin Leahy (drums) for what promises to be a brilliant night of songs and improvisation. Ger has been dubbed ‘A rare musical visionary’ and ‘The poetic soul of Ireland’ , praise from Paul Dromey writing in the Examiner-"Ger Wolfe has an utterly original approach to his craft. His songs have a lyrical, timeless quality, pandering to neither fad nor fashion...a rare and unique creative talent".
Ticket numbers are very limited for this great gig so pre-booking is strongly advised.
Other work in the pipeline for Ger at the moment is a very special performance with The Fleischmann Symphony Orchestra as part of the Cork Midsummer Festival in the Fleischmann’s former home-place of The Glen, Cork City on Midsummer’s night.
